# Approve a User

When a new user requests access to the gallery, you can review and approve their request from the **Gallery Manager**.

1. Go to the **Gallery Manager** page.
2. Open **Manage Users**.
3. Scroll down to the **Access Requests** section. Any pending requests will be listed here.
4. Find the request you want to approve and click the **Status** switch on the right side of the row.
5. A **Select Role for New User** popup will appear. Select the initial role for the new user: **Standard**, **Manager**, or **Admin**.
6. Click **Approve** to confirm.

The popup will close and the user will be approved and added to the **All Users** table.
