# Assign a Date to Multiple Images

Assign a date to multiple images at once using the bulk actions available in the Gallery.

1. Make sure the images you want to update have been uploaded to the gallery.
2. From the **Gallery** page, use the faint checkboxes over the image thumbnails to select the images you want to update.
3. A **Bulk Actions** panel will appear near the bottom of the screen. Click **Actions**, then select **Set Date**.
4. The **Set Date** popup will appear. Choose whether you want to assign a **Year Only** or **Full Date**.
5. Enter the year or full date you want to assign to the selected images.
6. Click **Update**.
7. A confirmation popup will appear showing the number of images that will be updated. Click **Update** to confirm.

The selected date will now be assigned to all of the images you selected.
